CNWL Sexual Health Services
Central and North West London (CNWL) NHS Foundation Trust’s Sexual Health Services offer free and confidential sexual health services in London and Surrey. Our services include:
- Sexual health check ups
- STI testing and treatment
- Short-term, long-term, repeat and emergency contraception
Our services are rated as outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and are open to everyone.

Sexual Problems Assessment and Treatment Service
Our Sexual Problems Assessment and Treatment Service (SPATS), based in London, offers both psychological and medical assessment and treatment for people experiencing the following sexual difficulties:
- Any pain during sex or difficulties with penetration (including vulval, vaginal and anal pain)
- Erection difficulties, early or delayed ejaculation, low sexual desire and difficulties having orgasms only if they are connected to one of the following:
- The presence of an STI
- 'Taking sexual risks' which increases the chances of contracting or transmitting STIs (this may include difficulties using condoms)
- Concerns about, or difficulties relating to, fertility or pregnancy
- A sexual assault, unwanted sexual experience or gender-based violence. It is recommended that if you experience symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder you receive support for this first.
Referrals to SPATS
You will need to visit one of our clinics in Camden and Islington, Haringey or Barnet in the first instance for a general sexual health screen before being referred to our SPATS service.
